Each item says what to connect (if anything) and gives a request in the form Muse responds to best: an outcome, with the constraints that matter to you. Copy it, change the details, and send it. Items marked no connection needed work the moment you sign up. For a searchable version with live status, see What Muse can do; for hundreds more phrasings, see Things to ask Muse.
Email and messages
Connect Gmail or Outlook. Start read-only, then allow sending once you trust it.
- Triage the inbox. "Read everything unread from the last two days. Archive newsletters and receipts, star anything from a client, and give me a list of what needs a reply, most urgent first."
- Draft replies in your voice. "Draft replies to the three starred emails. Keep them short and friendly. Show me before sending."
- Chase people. "Anyone I emailed more than five days ago who has not replied: send a polite follow-up."
- Summarise a long thread. "Summarise the 40-message thread about the office move. What was decided, and what is still open?"
- Unsubscribe in bulk. "Unsubscribe me from every marketing list I have not opened in three months." (Or use a purpose-built app; see Organize my inbox.)
- Turn a voice note into action. "Here is a voice note from my contractor. List what he needs from me and add it to my reminders."
- Reply to a group. "Everyone who RSVPed to the fundraiser: tell them the date moved to Saturday and ask them to reconfirm."
Calendar and time
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook. Add Calendly if you use it.

- Track spending. "Every Sunday, summarise last week's spending by category from my card emails and tell me if anything looks off." See Track my spending.
- Price-watch. "Watch this jacket and buy it if it drops under $80 in the next two weeks." Background task; Muse comes back when it triggers.
Shopping
Pay with Link (Stripe) set up in Settings; Shop Pay and PayPal are being added. Retail partners include Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora and Wayfair, and Muse can search the whole Shopify catalog. Note: Amazon blocks Muse from browsing its store.

- Reorder essentials. "Reorder the same dog food as last month, cheapest place with delivery this week." No connection needed beyond payment.

Selling and negotiating
Selling a car for more was one of Meta's own launch examples. Mostly no connection needed.

Work and business

Things that surprised us
Not numbered, because they are less "tasks" than habits Muse picks up once it knows you.
- It acts on things you said once. Mention that a friend is gluten-free in March, and Muse remembers it when you plan a dinner in September.
- It suggests before you ask. After a few weeks it will nudge: "Your car registration is due next month, want me to handle it?"
- It keeps working after you close the app and comes back only when it needs you. Long negotiations and price-watches are where this shines.
- It will soon have its own email address, so you can cc it on a thread and say "Muse, take this from here." Announced at Connect.
- It can be told exactly how much rope to have. "Never spend over $50 without asking" or "You can send routine replies yourself" both stick.
If you try any of these and it does not work, tell us on the task's page; every one has a "did this work?" button, and we adjust the wording and the app list based on what people report.
