Connects to pricing data for items. Muse can estimate what something is worth in new or used condition, compare buy-new versus buy-used costs, and find links to buy or sell it online or locally.

Example request: "What's my old laptop worth, and where can I sell it?"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Worth to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://worth.area21.io/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- price_item: Use when the user wants to know what one item is worth, and they have a photo or a name. Returns the estimate, the new and used ranges, and a confidence. Do not use it to weigh new against used (compare_prices) or to list stores (where_to_buy_or_sell).
- compare_prices: Use when the user asks whether to buy new or used, or what they could sell an item for. Returns new, used, and resale ranges. Pass estimate_low and estimate_high from price_item when you already have them; otherwise pass -1 and Worth will price the title first.
- where_to_buy_or_sell: Use when the user wants a store or a marketplace link to buy new, buy used, or sell. Returns Worth tracking links. Do not invent retailer URLs; use only the links in the result.
