Connects Muse to The Zebra's car insurance marketplace. Muse collects your driver, vehicle and current coverage answers, gets estimated RC1 quotes from carriers that sell online, and can match your current coverage. When you pick a quote, Muse gives you a link to finish buying the policy on The Zebra.

Example request: "Compare car insurance quotes for my 2019 Honda Civic and show me the cheapest options that keep my current coverage."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use The Zebra to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://api.thezebra.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- zebra_start_session: Start a new car insurance quote. Call this once, before any other quote tool, and pass the returned quote_handle to every later tool call for this quote.
- zebra_get_rc1_rates: Get estimated auto insurance rates (RC1 quotes) for the user, from the carriers they can buy from online on The Zebra. Call zebra_start_session first and pass its quote_handle. Usually takes about 30 seconds: wait for the result rather than calling again or starting a new session
- zebra_get_rate_action: Get the next step for the quote the user chose. Pass the quote_handle from zebra_start_session and the chosen quote's quote_id from zebra_get_rc1_rates. Give the user the returned url to continue buying the policy on The Zebra.
