Connects to ski resort lift boards to show which lifts are running now, snow depth and recent snowfall, weather forecasts, road conditions, and webcams. Helps you find open resorts nearby, compare conditions across resorts, and check if a specific resort is operating.

Example request: "Show me which ski resorts are open right now in Colorado with the most lifts running"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use status.live ski to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://status.live/ski/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- ski_search_resorts: Find the ski resorts this server covers, by name, id, region tag (e.g. "Colorado", "Alps", "Lake Tahoe") or season pass ("Ikon Pass", "Epic Pass"). Returns resort ids to pass to the other tools. Leave query empty to list everything.
- ski_list_regions: List the region tags resorts are grouped by (states, countries, ranges), with resort counts.
- ski_get_resort_status: Everything known about one resort: live lift status (each lift open, on hold, scheduled, or closed, read from the resort's own site), opening date if the season has not started, a model weather forecast, model snow estimates (depth and snowfall over the last 7/30 and next 7 days
- ski_compare_resorts: Side-by-side running-lift counts for up to 10 resorts, sorted by share of lifts running. Operator-reported; a resort without a count says whether it listed no lifts or could not be read.
- ski_find_nearby_resorts: Resorts closest to a point, by straight-line distance. Optionally fetches live open-lift counts for each.
- ski_get_region_summary: Open-lift totals for a whole region (a tag from ski_list_regions, e.g. "Utah", "Dolomiti"), with each resort's count. Fetches every resort in the region, so it is limited to 40 resorts.
- ski_open_now: Ski resorts whose own lift board lists running lifts right now, most running lifts first, optionally within a region (a country such as "Chile", a state such as "Colorado", a season pass such as "Ikon Pass" or "Epic Pass", or any tag from ski_list_regions). Uses the latest check
