Connects to Simple Analytics to read website traffic stats including pageviews, unique visitors, top pages, referrers, UTM parameters, browsers, countries and custom events. Export raw pageview and event data for analysis.

Example request: "Show me how many visitors came to my website last week and which pages got the most traffic."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Simple Analytics to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://simple-analytics.usefulapi.io/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- simpleanalytics_list_websites: List the websites of the Simple Analytics account (hostnames to use in the other tools). Good first call. Admin API: GET /api/websites.
- simpleanalytics_get_stats: Aggregated traffic for one website and date range: total pageviews, unique visitors and the median seconds on page. Optional filters narrow it to a page, country, referrer, UTM value, browser, OS, device or metadata value. Stats API: GET /<hostname>.json.
- simpleanalytics_get_timeseries: Pageviews and visitors per hour, day, week, month or year for one website and date range (time series for charts and trends). Optional filters as in simpleanalytics_get_stats. Stats API: GET /<hostname>.json?fields=histogram.
- simpleanalytics_get_breakdown: Top values of one dimension for one website and date range, each with pageviews and visitors: pages, countries, referrers, UTM sources/mediums/campaigns/contents/terms, browsers, operating systems or device types. Optional filters as in simpleanalytics_get_stats. Stats API: GET /
- simpleanalytics_get_events: How often custom events happened on one website in a date range. Pass event names, or leave names out for all events (up to 1000). Stats API: GET /<hostname>.json?events=...
- simpleanalytics_export_datapoints: Raw, unsampled page views or events of one website for a date range, as rows with only the fields asked for. The reply is capped at max_rows (default 100, max 1000) rows and 2 MB; "truncated" says more exist, so narrow the range. Rows are cut to about 40 000 characters of JSON. D
