Connects to Transitous open transit data for San Francisco and the Bay Area. Muse can look up addresses, landmarks and stops, plan trips with walking, transfers and live times, compare walking or cycling, and check upcoming departures at a stop. Free, no API key; search text and coordinates are sent to Transitous.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use SF Bay Area Transit to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://mcp.riv.lc/sf-transit/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- plan_trip: Find complete trips with walking, transit, transfers, scheduled and predicted times, and total travel time. Use coordinates from the selected search result. Omit times for leaving now; otherwise supply departureTime OR arrivalTime with a UTC offset. Transit trips include walking 
- get_stop_departures: Show upcoming departures at a selected Bay Area transit stop, including live predictions where available, scheduled times, cancellations, and boarding restrictions. Use the stop ID and coordinates from a search_places STOP result or plan_trip stop. Omit departureTime for now. Sto
