Connects to a podcast catalog with transcripts. Search episodes by keywords, semantic topics, or publication date. Retrieve full transcripts in chunks. Useful for finding discussions about specific people, companies, or ideas across podcast content.

Example request: "Find podcast episodes about AI safety and read what experts said about the topic."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Podcasts to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://podcasts.petabloom.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- search_episodes: Search indexed podcast episodes by keyword or show name and return the show/episode GUIDs needed for transcript retrieval.
- get_latest_episodes: Return the most recent transcript-ready episodes across the full podcast catalog.
- search_episodes_by_topic: Semantic topic search across the podcast catalog. Unlike `search_episodes` (which does lexical/keyword matching), this tool understands meaning: a query for 'AI safety' will match episodes about 'AI alignment', 'AGI risk', or 'frontier model evaluation' even if they don't contain
- get_transcript: Fetch a bounded transcript chunk for a specific episode using its show and episode GUIDs. Use `next_cursor` to continue reading.
- give_feedback: Send structured feedback about bugs, missing data, unclear behavior, or feature requests.
