Searches booksellers across 40+ sites including AbeBooks, eBay, ThriftBooks and regional shops in your country. Find books by ISBN or title, filter by price and condition, and get email alerts when matching copies appear for the first time.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Near Fine to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://nearfine.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- search_books: Search for a book across every bookseller Near Fine covers for the buyer's country (AbeBooks and eBay sites everywhere, plus World of Books, ThriftBooks, Casa del Libro, Hugendubel, Booklooker, Leslibraires.fr, Rarewaves, Ex Libris, Librairie Mollat, Boekwinkeltjes.nl, Standaard 
- list_sources: List the bookseller catalogs Near Fine searches, each with the countries it serves. Pass a country to see only the sources that serve buyers there.
- set_alert: Set an alert on a search for the person. The first time, they sign in to Near Fine. Near Fine checks the alert for six months and emails them once when a new listing turns up with everything the query asks for, such as a first edition, a signed copy or a price cap. The query read
- list_alerts: List the person's alerts on Near Fine. The first time, they sign in. Finds come first, then alerts being checked, then the rest, newest first. Each has its id, query, country, status, when it was set, last checked and runs until, a link to it on Near Fine, and, once it has found 
- cancel_alert: Cancel one of the person's alerts on Near Fine by its id, from list_alerts or set_alert, deleting it as its Delete button on Near Fine does. The first time, they sign in. Returns the cancelled alert and the person's plan.
