Provides chord diagrams, scale patterns, song transposition, capo suggestions, and tempo calculations. Links to free interactive music tools for tuning, metronome, and tone generation.

Example request: "What chords should I use if I capo my guitar to play this song in an easier key?"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use MusoKit music tools to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://musokit.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- chord_info: Notes, formula and a guitar fingering for a chord symbol such as "Am7", "F#m", "Bbmaj7" or "C/G", plus free diagram image URLs and a link where the user can hear and see the chord.
- scale_info: Notes and step pattern of a scale or mode, with a link to hear it and see it on piano and guitar. Scales: major, minor, dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, locrian, harmonic-minor, melodic-minor, major-pentatonic, minor-pentatonic, blues, whole-tone, phrygian-dominant.
- transpose_chords: Transpose a chord progression up or down, either by semitones or from one key to another. Returns the new chords and a link to the transposer.
- capo_finder: For a song's chords, finds the capo fret that lets a guitarist play it with the easiest open chord shapes. Returns the top options and a link to the capo calculator.
- bpm_to_ms: Note lengths in milliseconds (straight, dotted, triplet) for a tempo, for setting delay, reverb pre-delay and LFO times.
- open_music_tool: Returns a ready-to-open link to a free MusoKit tool, preset where possible: a tuner for a specific instrument or tuning, a metronome at a tempo, a tone at a frequency, etc. Use when the user needs to actually tune, keep time or hear something.
