This directory, inside Muse. Once added, you can ask Muse what it can help with and it answers with the right apps, their live status and the exact steps, from musedirectory.ai. Free, nothing to sign in to.

Example request: "What can you do to help me lower my bills?"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use musedirectory.ai to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://musedirectory.ai/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- what_can_muse_do: Given something a person wants Muse to do (for example "lower my bills" or "prepare for meetings"), returns matching tasks and starter kits with the connectors needed in setup order, whether each is available, the steps, and a first request to paste into Muse.
- search_muse_connectors: Search the directory by keyword and/or category. Matches names, developers, taglines, descriptions and tool names. Returns connectors with live health, Muse status, endpoint and record link.
- get_connector: Full record for one connector by slug or number (e.g. MD-007): details, health, uptime, tool catalog, and how to connect it in Muse.
- list_live: Every connector whose endpoint passed its latest health check, fastest first.
- search_prompts: Search ready-to-run prompts. Recipes are written to run through a specific connector (e.g. gmail, notion, subkiller); library prompts work anywhere. Filter by connector slug or category. Returns prompt text with its [bracketed] fill-in fields.
- get_prompt: One prompt by slug, with full text, fill-in fields, what to have ready, and the connectors it runs with.
- list_changes: The latest dated changes in the Muse connector ecosystem: connectors added, announced for Muse, blocked from Muse, going down or coming back. Use it to answer what is new in Muse.
- list_categories: Directory categories with connector counts and page links.
