Provides current and historical FX rates from the European Central Bank, plus currency conversion. Muse can look up exchange rates, convert amounts between currencies, and analyze rate trends over time for travel or international transactions.

Example request: "What's the current exchange rate from US dollars to euros, and how much would 500 dollars be in euros?"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Market Intel MCP to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://market.datakoot.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- fx_rates: Get the latest foreign-exchange rates for a base currency (default USD), optionally limited to specific target currencies. Source: European Central Bank reference rates.
- fx_convert: Convert an amount from one currency to another at the latest ECB reference rate. Returns the rate, the converted result, and the rate date.
- fx_historical: Get foreign-exchange rates for a base currency on a specific past date (YYYY-MM-DD). ECB publishes rates on business days; a weekend/holiday date returns the most recent prior business day.
- fx_timeseries: Get a time series of exchange rates for a base currency over a date range (max ~1 year), useful for trend analysis. Provide start and end as YYYY-MM-DD and one or more target currencies.
- fx_currencies: List the currencies supported for exchange-rate lookups, with their full names.
