Provides service-area mapping by ZIP code with population and housing data, seasonal demand patterns by trade and region from BLS employment data, FTC-compliant review request timing, and standard website page templates for trades like plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing and landscaping.

Example request: "Show me what ZIP codes my plumbing business can serve within 15 miles of Kalispell, Montana, and when customers are most likely to need emergency repairs."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Local Trades Kit to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://mcp.modernmustardseed.com/trades-kit. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- seasonal_demand: Show the busy and slow months for a home-service trade in a US state, a NOAA climate region (Northeast, Upper Midwest, Ohio Valley, Southeast, Northern Rockies and Plains, South, Southwest, Northwest, West) or the whole country. The month-by-month index is measured from BLS QCEW 
- review_request_timing: Plan when and how a home-service business asks customers for reviews, by trade and job type: what to say at completion, the window for the one written request (with dates when a completion date is given), the moment the customer can first judge the work, and the rules that apply,
- trade_service_pages: List the standard website page set for a home-service trade: home, services hub, one page per core service with what it must cover, projects, service area, reviews, about, questions and contact, plus location pages for up to 20 cities. Comes with Google's written rules on doorway
- list_trades: List every trade the kit covers with its id, common names it matches, its 2022 NAICS industry code and its job type ids. Static reference.
