Searches restaurants by location or name and shows vegan status, dietary dish options, and menu evidence with twelve dietary labels. Free preview of up to four dishes per restaurant; full detailed menus require a developer API key.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use KaleMap to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://kalemap.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- get_menu: Detailed saved menu evidence, twelve dietary labels, provenance, freshness and explicit unknowns. Requires a developer API key or a consented OAuth connection in the Authorization header. Each call uses one trial or paid request. Follow pagination even when filtered pages are emp
- search_places: Search restaurants by name. Returns each match with its vegan status, score (0 to 100, 100 = fully vegan), city and page URL.
- place_vegan_options: Free preview of up to four saved dishes at one restaurant. For detailed paginated evidence and all dietary labels use get_menu with a developer key. Pass the slug from a search result URL.
- places_near: Restaurants near a coordinate, nearest first, with status, score and the best dishes of each. Pass needs to require that one dish fits every need (vegan AND gluten-free, not either).
- city_vegan_places: The most diet-friendly places in a city (fully vegan first). Pass needs to require one dish fitting every need. City slugs come from list_cities.
- list_cities: Every city KaleMap covers, with its slug and how many vegan-friendly places it has.
