Transcribes audio from video files into timed captions, corrects caption text, translates captions to other languages, and applies 16 rendering styles for different platforms. Charges by audio duration and character count with a monthly free allowance.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use justcaptions to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://api.justcaptions.com/mcp. It needs an API key from SpaceSheepBoy; ask me to enter it through your secure credential prompt. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- list_styles: List 16 local rendering presets, aliases, style overrides and platform safe areas. This remote server returns the catalog; render via the local MCP.
- list_fonts: List named font IDs, licenses and script coverage. Pass font_id in local rendering overrides; no cloud video rendering.
- get_pricing: Current API prices and monthly free allowances, no key needed.
- get_usage: Current usage, estimated bill and monthly spend cap for your configured API key.
- estimate_cost: Estimate additional cloud charges and available allowance before a batch. Includes active budget holds; does not reserve credit.
- transcribe_audio: Transcribe extracted audio into segments and word timestamps. Max 12 MB decoded. Never send video. Charged by audio duration past the free allowance.
- correct_captions: Correct caption text, preserving caption count and order. Does not realign word timing. Billed by input characters.
- translate_captions: Translate caption lines, preserving count and order. Target-language word timing is estimated by the local renderer. Billed by input characters.
- pick_emojis: Pick one emoji for each caption. Billed by input characters.
