Suggests destinations based on travel mood, provides weather and safety info, finds top-rated attractions and restaurants with photos, and builds shareable day-by-day itineraries. Connects to real Google-rated places and Instafan's group trip planning.

Example request: "Help me plan a 4-day food-focused trip to Portugal with my friends."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Instafan to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://instafan.app/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- find_destinations: Suggest 3-5 destinations for a trip mood or constraint set, e.g. "somewhere warm in November, food-first". Use when the traveller has not settled on a place yet.
- destination_brief: A short brief on one destination: what it is like, typical weather now, official safety verdict. Use before or instead of a full itinerary.
- top_spots: The strongest real places in a destination — top attractions by default, or a specific ask like "specialty coffee" or "rooftop bars". Real Google-rated places, never invented.
- build_itinerary: Build a day-by-day itinerary for a destination from its strongest real places. Returns the plan plus links to run it as a group trip on Instafan.
- spot_photos: Real photos of one spot — up to two shown inline plus direct photo links. Name a specific place ("Belém Tower") or leave spot empty for a postcard of the destination itself.
