Connects to GrantCue's catalog of federal, state, local and foundation grants. Muse can search grants by keywords, location, funding amount and deadline, retrieve full grant details, and look up foundation profiles and giving history from IRS Form 990 filings.

Example request: "Find grants under $50,000 for nonprofits in my state closing within 30 days."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use GrantCue to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://www.grantcue.com/api/v1/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- search_grants: Search the public GrantCue grant catalog (federal, state, local and foundation opportunities) with the same filters as the Discover page. Returns a short page of matches, at most 25, and can reach the first 100 results of a search; use get_grant for one grant in full. Grant text 
- get_grant: One public catalog grant in full: dates, amounts, eligibility, and links to the funder’s own pages. A grant that is not publicly listed is not found.
