Converts amounts between any two currencies using current ECB reference rates, and looks up live exchange rates. Useful for travelers, international shoppers, and anyone comparing prices across currencies.

Example request: "Convert 100 USD to EUR to see what a purchase costs in my home currency"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use FX Converter MCP to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://ads.getlulu.dev/fx/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- convert_currency: Convert an amount from one currency to another using real, current ECB reference exchange rates. Use for any "how much is X in Y" question -- "convert 100 USD to EUR", "what's 50 GBP in yen". `from_currency`/`to_currency` are 3-letter ISO codes (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, ...). Returns 
- get_exchange_rate: Look up today's exchange rate between two currencies, without converting a specific amount. Use for "what's the exchange rate between USD and EUR" style questions. `from_currency`/`to_currency` are 3-letter ISO codes. Returns the rate and the date it's from.
