Get current and historical exchange rates for 30+ currencies using European Central Bank data. Convert amounts between any two currencies, check rates for specific dates, and analyze historical trends with SQL queries.

Example request: "Convert 500 euros to US dollars at today's rate."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Exchange Rates to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://exchange-rates.caseyjhand.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- fx_list_currencies: List all supported ISO 4217 currency codes with their full names. Call this before converting to disambiguate "dollars" (USD vs AUD vs CAD vs HKD vs SGD) or to validate a user-supplied currency code. Covers the ~30 ECB reference currencies.

- fx_get_rate: Get the exchange rate for a currency pair on a given date (default: latest). Returns the rate, the actual rate date (which may differ from the requested date on weekends/holidays — ECB publishes business days only), and source provenance. Cross-rates are triangulated through EUR 
- fx_convert_currency: Convert an amount between any two currencies at the latest or a historical rate.
