Connects to EventMatey's event directory to search for public events organisers have approved for AI discovery. Muse can find events by keyword, UK location, date range, category and price, then retrieve full booking details.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use EventMatey Event Discovery to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://mcp.eventmatey.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- search_events_by_keyword: Search public EventMatey events by keyword, optional UK location text, date range, categories, and price range. Returns only published and bookable events that the organiser has enabled for AI discovery.
- search_events_nearby: Search EventMatey events by location. The current v1 implementation uses location_text plus date/category/price filters. Latitude/longitude and radius are accepted for forward compatibility but are not yet used for true distance search.
- get_event_details: Get fuller public details for one discoverable EventMatey event, including the canonical hosted booking URL.
