Get homeowners or landlord insurance quotes for California properties from multiple carriers. Muse collects your property details, requests quotes, and shows you rates with coverages and deductibles side by side. A licensed advisor follows up to confirm and bind your policy.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use DwellQuote to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://www.dwellquote.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- start_quote: Start a homeowners or landlord insurance quote for a property in California. Collect every field from the user first. Ask for the date of birth as typed text, not with a date picker: picking a birth year decades back in a calendar is hard. Before calling, tell the user that Dwell
- get_property_details: Returns what DwellQuote found about the property. This call waits for the lookup, which usually takes under 30 seconds; if status is still "collecting", tell the user you are still looking and call it again right away. When status is "ready", show the user the property facts and 
- submit_property_details: Submit the property facts the user confirmed and request quotes from DwellQuote's carriers. Send every field the user confirmed, not only the ones they changed. Call this once per quote; then poll get_quotes.
- get_quotes: Returns the quotes for a property. This call waits for the carriers, which usually takes under a minute; if status is still "quoting", tell the user quotes are still coming in and call it again right away. When status is "complete", show every rate exactly as returned, cheapest f
- select_quote: Record the rate the user chose and get the link where they finish on dwellquote.com. Give the user finish_url and explain that they will confirm their email there, and that a licensed advisor from Somerset Agency will then contact them to confirm the final rate and bind the polic
