Searches a directory of US businesses by service type, location and licensing status. Shows phone, website, and verified licenses from government records. No paid placement. Lets you send contact requests directly to businesses you choose.

Example request: "Find a licensed roofer in Denver, Colorado who can give me an estimate."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use DouxProcess Directory to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://douxprocess.directory/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- find_businesses: Search the DouxProcess Directory for businesses by what the person needs (e.g. roofer, dentist, insurance agency), city and two-letter US state. Returns every match in the published ranking order with phone, website, licence and listing page. Nobody pays for placement; listings a
- get_business: One business's details, licences and how to contact it. Each licence carries its basis: issuer_file = matched against the issuer's own published file on checked_at; stated = given by the business, not yet matched (send the person to source_url).
- list_categories: Every category with its NAICS 2022 code, plain name and Google Business Profile names.
- request_contact: Sends the person's request to the ONE business they chose, so it can reply to them. Call only after the person has read and agreed to this: 'I agree that DouxProcess sends my name, my contact details and this request to <business>, and only to them, so they can reply to me about
