Provider-by-provider playbook for internet, wireless, TV, satellite radio, security and subscription bills, plus bank and card fee refunds. General consumer information, not financial advice.

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use CutMyBill to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://cutmybill.ai/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- start_here: Read only. Returns how CutMyBill works: the recommended order of steps and what this connector can and cannot do. CutMyBill identifies which bills can be lowered and plans each call; the person makes the call. CutMyBill helps a person lower recurring bills (internet, wireless, TV
- get_search_plan: Returns what to look for in the person's email and bank or card transactions to find bills that can be lowered and fees that can be refunded. You run these searches with your own connectors. Nothing from the inbox is sent to CutMyBill.
- identify_providers: Takes provider names found on the person's bills and returns, for each, whether it is in the playbook, the odds band when customers ask for a lower price, and whether a retention call is worth the time. Names only. Read only.
- get_playbook: Returns the playbook for one provider: odds, how to reach the retention team, what leverage to bring, the typical offer, the traps, and an honest script with the person's own numbers filled in. Works for providers outside the playbook too, with the general script. Read only.
- check_offer: Checks a retention offer before the person accepts it. Does the monthly and yearly math, subtracts one time fees, and flags new contract terms, bundles sold as discounts, and the date the price goes back up. Numbers only. Read only.
- fee_refund_script: Returns the words to use, the timing, honest odds and the fallback for getting one bank or credit card fee reversed: overdraft or NSF, monthly maintenance, credit card late fee, or credit card annual fee. The person makes the call. Read only.
- save_list: Write. Creates or updates the person's private list of bills and fees so it builds over time: what was found, what was called, deals accepted with the date the price ends, and fees refunded. Omit list_key to create a new list. Returns a key and a private link. Accepts company nam
- get_list: Returns the person's saved list with totals saved per year, fees refunded, and flags for promotional prices that are ending soon or have ended, which is the moment to call again. Call this at the start of a return visit.
- new_list_link: Write. Replaces the private link to the person's saved list with a new one. The old link and key stop working at once and the list itself is unchanged. Use it when the link was shared by mistake.
- delete_list: Sensitive write: cannot be undone. Permanently deletes the person's saved list and everything in it. Use when the person asks to delete their data. Cannot be undone.
