Tracks and compares prices for groceries across five major Irish supermarkets. Search products, compare prices, check promotions, view price history since May 2026, find items by nutrition or ingredients, and price whole shopping baskets across stores.

Example request: "Show me where I can buy Kerrygold butter cheapest this week across all supermarkets."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use BasketWatch to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://basketwatchireland.com/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

- compare_prices: Find where a product is cheapest right now. Matches the same product at Aldi, Tesco, SuperValu, Dunnes Stores and Lidl and returns each store's current price side by side, with unit prices, offers and member prices (Tesco Clubcard, SuperValu Real Rewards, Lidl Plus). To list the 
- compare_price_across_stores: Raw per-store search results for a product name at all five supermarkets: every matching line at each store, including other pack sizes, without matching the same product across stores. Returns a dict keyed by store, with up to `limit_per_store` matching products per store. Args:
- lookup_barcode: Find the products carrying one or more barcodes (GTIN, EAN or UPC) at Aldi, Tesco, SuperValu, Dunnes Stores and Lidl in one call. Codes are accepted exactly as printed: leading zeros, spaces and hyphens are ignored. Needs a signed-in BasketWatch account. Args: codes: one barcode,

- newly_added_products: Products newly listed at a supermarket within a configurable lookback window: range additions and new launches. - removed_products: Products that have disappeared from a supermarket's catalogue in the given lookback window: delistings and range cuts.
