Connects to Augmap to create maps of places in the continental US. Muse can search places, add and organize stops into lists and days, set routes and travel times, and share maps with travel companions as viewers or editors.

Example request: "Plan a three day Asheville trip with seafood restaurants and playgrounds, then share the map with my partner."

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use Augmap to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://mcp.augmap.ai/mcp. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- map_create: Create a map of places in the continental US. Returns map_id and map_url.
- map_get_state: Read a map: lists, places, save_state, version, pending_changes.
- map_update: Change a map's title, context, travel mode, interests, day noun or whether it routes between stops.
- map_set_view: Pan/zoom the live map.
- map_edit_places: Add, update, move, remove (park in rejected) or restore places. Each op result has the list_id and kind of the list it used.
- map_edit_lists: Create, update (rename, change kind, pin a saved list to a plan list) or delete lists. A plan list's date goes in its name ("Sat, Oct 3 · Acadia"). Deleting a list moves its places to Unscheduled or to. Each op result has the list_id and kind of the list it used.
- map_search_places: Find places and street addresses in the continental US for an existing map_id. Returns places and fields_granted per query.
- map_save: Save a map to the traveler's account.
- map_list: List the traveler's saved maps, and maps shared with them, with their map_id and map_url.
- map_share: Create, list or revoke links that let other people view a saved map or join it as editors, change a link's role, or list and manage the people who joined.
