Connects to a verified corpus of legal provisions for the US, Canada, UK, India, Russia and Hong Kong. Muse can break down a legal situation, find relevant statutes, and check whether a citation exists before you rely on it.

Example request: "What does California law say about breaking a lease early?"

How to connect: Not in Muse's Connectors list yet, but Muse can still use it. Paste this into Muse: "Use AILegal to help me. It is a free service with an MCP server at https://ailegal.legal/api/mcp/. It does not need an API key. Ask me before you share anything with it." Muse asks before it shares anything with the app's site. Meta does not review apps used this way, so only use ones you trust. We tested this in the Muse app on September 24, 2026: Muse used an app's link directly this way and returned a live answer.

Tools:
- legal_breakdown: Describe a legal situation; get the verified provisions that apply with official-source links. jurisdiction: ru|in|us|uk|ca|hk. Returns a refusal when the corpus has no norm.
- oracle_lookup: Legal Oracle: which verified provisions relate to a query. Optional jurisdiction filter. An empty list means the corpus has no norm for this query.
- verify_citation: Legal Oracle: does this citation exist in the verified corpus? Use before relying on any code/article pair. found=false means do not rely on it.
